It was originally intended that the steam machinery from SERVICEMAN q.v. would be fitted.
As built: 12-cyl. 2 S.C.S.A. (220 x 380mm) Brons type engine by the shipbuilder, geared to a controllable pitch propeller. 1,125bhp. 12kts. 11 tons bollard pull.
Post 1979: 12-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. engine made in 1971 by Normo Gruppen A/S., Bergen. 1,125bhp.
30.12.1961: Keel laid by the Drypool Engineering & Dry Dock Company Ltd., Hull (Yard No. 3) for the United Towing Company Ltd., Hull.
17.9.1962: Launched.
13.1.1963: Completed.
21.1.1970: Owners restyled as United Towing Ltd.
1974: Sold to K/S. Brodrene Thorrmodsen & Company A/S., Haugesund and renamed TORIAN.
11.1979: Re-engined. 1988: Sold to Bukser og Berendskap A/S, Haugesund and renamed BENI.
19xx: Sold to Buksér og Berging AS, Oslo.
Believed to be still in service.
