In the fleet 19-06-1886 named NEWA from Peter Berg - St.Petersburg.
In 1916 as War price to Portugal.

LR lists her with an unusual 3cy compound engine (cylinders 31½, 42, 42 x 24ins)

28/2/1936 wrecked near the Bugio Lighthouse off Lisbon

David, the second "42" is a well known Lloyds Mistake I suppose. In a Triple there were no 2 cylinders the same and a Compound only had two!

Certainly such engines did exist - I have come across them occasionally in reliable sources. But I cannot say whether this one is correct of a mistake
