Hsin-Fung SS 1891 - Napier, Shanks & Bell

Post by Woody » Tue Nov 19, 2013 4:34 pm

Launched This Day 19/11/1891 by Napier, Shanks & Bell, Glasgow, Yard No 56

This was posted as Hsui Fung of the China Merchants' Steam Navigation Company but I can find no ship of this name.
Can anyone confirm if the correct speeling contains the hyphen?

Both spellings are correct Lloyds show "Hsin Fung" no hyphen to 1894
after she was reaquired it became "Hsin-Fung" with the hyphen
