You were quite right
I have checked Lloyd's Registers and she is of iron construction [the World Ship Society yard list for Russels wrongly shows steel]
The 1891 Lloyds shows the tonnages as 2,144 grt 2,002 under the deck 2,067 nrt
The name is shown as "Tinto Hill"

I checked Lloyd's Appendix for 1922 under the builders name, it was "Alta P Eidsvaag"
but i noticed in the main register it's listed as "Alta" but the master/captains name below it was P. Eidsvaag
so i think this is how the confusion has come about
