Sunday School

As in recent years,we continue to use Scripture Union materials as our Resource. We find them most successful,encouraging the children to think deeply about Religion/Culture and to take part in a variety of discussions.

Once a month we try to have a social evening for the children in the church hall - this has included a Wii games night, watching dvd's and making helping to make topical gifts (eg Christmas, Easter etc).

Throughout February we have been on the journey with Moses and the Israelites as they travel and survive the different challenges they face during their time in the desert after leaving Egypt.

March sees us exploring the Bible, discussing a number of Bible passages on Light - helping us to see how God shows us the right way to live in a dark world. We will be encouraged to think about how our actions have an effect on others and how we can bring God's light to others.

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Soup 'n Sweet lunch which raised the sum of £176 for our WorldVision sponsored child, Anthony Lubega from Uganda.
